It is with deep sadness that I inform you of the death of St John's College alumna, Rebecca Mullen, as a result of the Hunter Valley Bus tragedy that occurred over the King's Birthday long weekend.

Bec was a Fresher at St John's College in 2016, where she was initially enrolled in a Bachelor of Veterinary Bioscience. She later transferred her studies to the University of Newcastle to pursue a degree in medicine graduating at the end of 2021.

I know we are all saddened by this situation and send our condolences to her family and friends. If any further information about the situation is received, I will provide it as it becomes available.
